Mrs Lucienne Hughes, mother of 2, has spent her whole career working with children. As well as having a teaching degree (B.ed. hons), she has graduated in her EYTS, the highest recognised qualification in Early Years. She is supported by well qualified teachers who are all dedicated to the care and education of children. We are proud of the school's excellent reputation, and our Ofsted Report which was a 'strong good' in all 14 areas. We look forward to welcoming you and your children.

Bingham Kindergarten has been based in Bingham Hall for over 50 years which is in the historic town of Cirencester in Gloucestershire. The hall itself is very spacious and there is plenty of room for letting off steam if it rains. The hall also boasts a professional stage where the children perform twice-yearly productions. The nursery is ideally placed opposite St Michael's park, which is a dog-free space, with lots of different areas to play in. We also have our own garden in which the littlest children begin. The children start at 2 years old and move on to their next schools when they are rising 5's. Our children move onto a range of schools, private and state in and around the area.

Bingham Kindergarten cares for 2-5-year-old girls and boys, with a staff to child ratio of 1:4 for children aged 2-3, and 1:8 for 3-5 year-olds, in 3 classrooms. We are open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3 pm, not on Fridays. We also offer early sessions from 8.30 am.

Children bring packed lunches if they are staying beyond our first pick up time at 12pm. The children can either finish at 12pm, 1.30pm (after lunch) or 3pm. We provide a healthy morning snack with a variety of fruit, vegetables and breadsticks or alternative.

Within our Nursery week we cook savoury and sweet things, have French lessons with La Jolie Ronde- a fantastic organisation, do sports with Sporty Little Stars, another excellent outfit and try woodwork for the pre-schoolers, sometimes practice yoga and try to bring as much of the outside world into the classroom. We also sing, dance, paint and stick. We try to give the children a wide range of experiences by the time they leave us. Our twice-yearly concerts epitomise our aims. Above all the children at Bingham's enjoy themselves and make friends for life.

Our unique nursery is small, friendly and kind with fun thrown into the mix. The children have purpose, are happy and build independence and confidence. As the classes are small we get to know the children well and the families too. With this we take interest in all the parts of the children's life which are important to them.
